Cheryl Williams

Grades 1-3 Teacher

Cheryl Williams is our grades 1-3 teacher.  She has taught here since 2005.  She is known for directing many of the school plays and developing the school’s greenhouse project where our students get to plant, harvest, and sell what they have grown.  They also share their produce with Daniel’s Kitchen – Cedar Lake SDA church’s vegan/vegetarian restaurant.  She and her husband Steve have two grown children, Kari, and Ryan.  Their son Ryan and his wife Kristi have two children.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.  Her desire for her students is to know Jesus and to share him with others.

Kamran Masih

Principal & Grades 6-8 Teacher

Kamran Masih is our principal and grades 6-8 teacher.   He and his wife, Saima, have two children, Misha and Abner.  He served as a missionary in the Guam Micronesia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists for eight years.  He taught grades 5-12 and was the principal of the Kosrae SDA School.  He is grateful that God allowed him to come to Cedar Lake to be the 5-8th grade teacher and principal.   He enjoys outdoor activities such as sports, hiking, and swimming in his spare time.  He also enjoys reading.  His desire for all the students at Cedar Lake Elementary is to have a strong relationship with Jesus and know that he is always with them.  He wants students to be trained and equipped for worthwhile work for Jesus Christ.

Jeanne McCoy

CLE School Secretary

Jeanne McCoy is our school secretary. She received her B.S. degree from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI.   She retired from Public Health, Delta, and Menominee Counties as a program coordinator for a state program in 2019.  Previously, she was the Teacher Aide for the Pine Mountain Christian School in Iron Mountain.

Anthony Kroll

Chairman

Anthony Kroll is our school board chairman. He has served the school board as vice chair for the two previous years and as an Edmore church representative on the school board. Tony also serves in the Edmore church as an elder and the junior Sabbath school teacher. He is married to Dawn and is a step-dad, dad, and recently became a Father-in-law, to four adult children, Apryl & Kyle, Luke, Elsie, and Owen.  Some of the things he enjoys are; doing anything with his family, especially, canoeing, camping, and tinkering. The desire of his heart is for children to know that they are important, and most of all loved by Jesus.

Christianna Greene

Band Director

Christianna Greene is our band director.  We are so blessed to have her on our staff here at Cedar Lake Elementary. Besides her work at our school, she is also a nurse.   She and her husband Eric live here in Cedar Lake, Michigan.  When Christianna finds time, she loves to play the piano, take a walk out in nature, color, and put together jigsaw puzzles. Being able to spend quality time with her family and with her husband really brightens her day. She also really enjoys being able to interact with the students during various activities, events, and just on a daily basis.

Todd Gardner

Treasurer & IT Assistance

Todd Gardner is our school treasurer and has helped Cedar Lake Elementary for several years in dealing with IT issues.  He has also served on our school board as well.  Being school treasurer is a job that fits him well as he has his Master’s in Business Administration.  He is married to Lynette Gardner and has 3 children – Wyatt, Logan, and Sierra.  In his spare time, he enjoys genealogy, ham radio and radio production, and spending time with his family.  He looks for ways to help families who want to send their child to a Christian school.

Nancy Coon

Choir Director

Nancy Coon is our choir director.  We are so blessed to have her on our staff here at Cedar Lake Elementary. Besides her work at our school, she is also a training and development coordinator at the Heritage Health Food Company.   She and her husband Jeff live in Vestaburg, Michigan.  They have three children plus one: Logan, Callie, Miranda & husband Nick.  She is involved in many church outreach projects and also directs the “Christmas Cantata” at the Cedar Lake SDA church.

Pastor E.J. Wolf

Yearbook Coordinator

Pastor E.J. Wolf is our current yearbook coordinator.  He is the pastor of the Edmore, Lakeview, and Frost SDA churches.  He and his wife Eujin, live in Edmore, Michigan.  They have four children: Aaron, Sarah, Andrew, and Anna.  We are also blessed to have him come to our school and provide the students with worship on select Fridays and is a member of our school board.

Pastor Jacob Gibbs

Art Teacher

Pastor Jacob Gibbs assists our Grades 1-3, 4-5, and 5-8 teachers by coming in and teaching art to our students.  He is the pastor of the Cedar Lake SDA church.  He and his wife Emily, live in Cedar Lake, Michigan.  They have two children: Eva and Avianne. Like Pastor Wolf, we are blessed to have him come to our school and provide the students with worship on select Fridays and is a member of our school board.

Dawn Kroll

Teacher's Aide

Dawn Kroll is our new teacher’s aide for Kindergarten. She represents Home & School on our school board. She is active in the Pathfinder and Adventure clubs and her local church. She is married to Tony Kroll and has four children – Apryl, Luke, Elsie, and Owen. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, playing board games with her family (especially Scrabble and Ticket to Ride), going to any body of water to walk and explore, doing crafts, helping others, and spending time with her family. Her love of students is evident in all she does; her desire is for them to become forever friends with Jesus.

Jodi Thibert

Grades 4-5 Teacher

Jodi Thibert is our grades 4-5 teacher. She and her husband, Nate, have two children, Brynne and Asher. She began her career in 2013 teaching 1st grade for Mt. Pleasant Public School and then went on to teach 2nd grade within the same district for four additional years. Once her children were born, she devoted her time to being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooled for three years. She is so excited to be back in the classroom, and this time combines her passion for teaching with an intense desire to train children to be workers of Jesus.
